Lyrian Lennox
Lyrian Lennox are two women who give voice to six stories. Our own experiences are interwoven with those of other women who have passed through our lives to give shape to this project. Women of different ages, countries, cultures and beliefs.
Lyrian Lennox was born from late nights talking, laughter, disaster and friendship. For now, we are not going to reveal who we are, but we can say that there is a part of us in each of the Hunters. Because these books are not just love stories. They are much more. They are life lessons, fears, hopes, desires, worries and dreams that we believe many of you will relate to. This is why we hope that you will accompany us on this journey in which we will get to know each other better and, perhaps, discover what is worth fighting for and when it is wiser to let go.
The reason behind the endless mane
Why did we choose a mane as our trademark?
Firstly, because the woman you see from behind in our publications with very long hair is one of us .
We decided that it was a way to show you a little bit of Lyrian Lennox without overshadowing the real protagonists: the women in our stories . Although, in reality, that was secondary. A coincidence behind the real reason why we chose to make something so commonplace into the image of Lyrian Lennox.
Hair has always been a symbol of freedom for women, of rebellion and of the ability to make decisions about our bodies. An element that represents our power and our strength of spirit. Short, long, curly, straight, braided, dreadlocked, blonde, white, brown, dark, red, dyed in a thousand colours or shaved. Hair―or the lack of it―carries an implicit cultural meaning that needs no words. A meaning that we have transformed over time, making it our own and claiming the right to wear it as we please.
That's why we chose hair as a symbol of identity. To remind us that we are free to make our own choices.
